About the Opportunity:
A leading global manufacturing organization is seeking a Bilingual Human Resources Business Partner (Spanish/English) to support one of its Kansas operations. This role serves as the primary HR partner for plant leadership and employees, balancing strategic business partnership with hands-on human resources support in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The position offers exposure to employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, compliance, workforce planning, and organizational development while supporting both hourly and salaried employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with plant leadership to provide strategic and day-to-day Human Resources support
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, coaching, investigations, and policy interpretation
- Support recruitment efforts for hourly and salaried positions, including interviewing and onboarding
- Partner with managers on workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness
- Facilitate new hire orientation and employee onboarding activities
- Coach supervisors on employee performance, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
- Support leave administration, accommodations, and HR compliance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws as well as company policies
- Analyze HR metrics and identify opportunities to improve retention, engagement, and workforce performance
- Assist with compensation recommendations, promotions, transfers, and organizational changes
- Partner with corporate HR teams on talent management and strategic HR initiatives
- Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement and communication initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records while handling confidential information with professionalism
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, and performance management
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC regulations
- Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of an organization
Preferred Background:
- Human Resources experience within manufacturing, industrial, production, or distribution environments
- Experience partnering directly with plant or operations leadership
- Multi-shift manufacturing support experience
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
- Demonstrated success driving employee engagement, retention, and leadership coaching initiatives
