Job Description:
The Human Resources Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, blending traditional HR partnership with advanced workforce analytics. This role focuses on optimizing talent strategies, ensuring compliance, and using data to support informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and translate them into effective people strategies
- Provide guidance on employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, performance management, and DEI initiatives
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends related to turnover, engagement, hiring, and compensation
- Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Conduct workforce forecasting and evaluate the impact of HR programs and initiatives
- Serve as a resource for HR metrics, KPIs, and operational performance insights
- Support leaders in strengthening engagement, morale, and employee retention
- Oversee Leave of Absence processes, including short-term and long-term disability
- Manage HR operations within an HRIS, including onboarding, talent management, position tracking, and unemployment processes
- Participate in cross-functional projects focused on scalability, analytics, and process improvement
- Ensure adherence to federal and state employment regulations (FMLA, ADA, ACA, ERISA, etc.)
- Investigate employee concerns and support resolution of workplace issues
- Provide employee support related to benefits, compensation, payroll, and leave programs
- Promote accountability, fairness, and consistent HR practices across the organization
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; Master’s preferred
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, including exposure to workforce analytics
- HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Broad knowledge of HR functions including compliance, compensation, and performance management
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (PAYCOM preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with SQL, R, or Python is a plus
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism required
