Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed, accurate cost estimates for electrical construction projects
- Perform complete material and labor takeoffs based on drawings and specifications
- Review bid documents, specifications, and attend pre-bid meetings to define full scope of work
- Incorporate historical data (purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity reports) into estimating assumptions
- Coordinate estimating efforts across assigned bids and projects
- Maintain organized documentation and backup files for all estimates
- Collaborate with owners, architects/engineers, and contractors to support feasibility and cost analysis
- Support awarded projects with change orders, extra work items, credits, and procurement support
- Perform additional estimating and preconstruction duties as assigned
Experience Level
- Estimator: 3 years
- Senior Estimator: 6 years
- Chief Estimator: 8 years
- 3–10 years of estimating, cost control, or construction engineering experience
- Electrical construction industry experience strongly preferred
- Engineering degree preferred (not required)

- Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Estimator / Senior Estimator: $85,000 – $120,000
- Chief Estimator: $150,000 – $170,000
- Annual performance bonus: 5–10%
