Job Description
The Engineering Coordinator will support the Engineering team by managing documentation, coordinating project details, and ensuring accurate technical data flows smoothly between departments. This role blends administrative coordination with technical support and plays an important role in keeping engineering projects organized, compliant, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Engineering Support
- Partner with engineers to assist with project planning, scheduling, and progress tracking
- Help maintain project timelines and follow up on outstanding action items
- Support timely execution of engineering deliverables
- Maintain and organize engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials
- Process revisions, updates, and engineering change documentation
- Assist with document control procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Update drawing files and manage part numbering and revision histories
- Serve as a liaison between Engineering and departments such as Production, Procurement, Service, and Sales Support
- Track internal technical requests and help route them appropriately
- Ensure accurate communication of updates and changes across teams
- Assist in preparing engineering performance reports and metrics
- Document meeting discussions and track follow-up tasks
- Compile project status summaries for leadership review
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical support environment
- Exposure to CAD software (SolidWorks experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office applications
- General understanding of manufacturing processes
