Job Title: Controller
Location: Hybrid Remote in Fort Worth, TX
Schedule: M-F, 8AM-5PM CST
Salary Range: $150K-$170K Bonus BOE
Type: Full-Time; Salaried/Exempt
Overview: Addison Group has partnered with a nationally recognized manufacturing organization to hire a strong Controller for a full-time opportunity.
This role offers hands-on leadership of the Fort Worth, TX accounting team while working closely with a national VP Controller.

Job Duties:
- Manage the preparation and review of core financial reports such as profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and analytical trend reviews.
- Maintain adherence to GAAP, relevant industry regulations, and third‑party reporting standards, including lease and revenue recognition guidance.
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the FW manufacturing facility
- Deliver timely financial insights and reporting that inform leadership and operational decision-making.
- Establish and uphold effective internal control frameworks to protect organizational assets.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while setting direction for the overall accounting function and ensuring consistency in accounting policies and procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing groups to support alignment between financial objectives and production activities.
- Assist with ongoing ERP optimization initiatives and broader financial system enhancements.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on process efficiency, documentation, standardization, and risk reduction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field of study
- CPA
- 6 years of progressive experience in accounting; 2 years of leadership expertise
- A professional background in manufacturing is a big plus
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (system implementation experience is a big plus)
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience
- Proficiency in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial reporting in manufacturing
