The Education Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to department leadership while assisting with student scheduling, academic program coordination, reporting, communications, and educational events. This position requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume academic setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling activities for department leadership and academic programs
- Create, edit, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and departmental documentation
- Prepare meeting materials, track action items, and document meeting notes when needed
- Serve as a key point of contact for students, faculty, and staff through professional written and verbal communication
- Assist with workshops, orientations, training sessions, and other student-focused events
- Support course scheduling activities and maintain academic calendars and related records
- Enter and update information within internal systems while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Learn student scheduling processes and provide support for online portal navigation and training
- Minimum 3 years of administrative, coordinator, or executive support experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable presenting information, facilitating small group sessions, and interacting with diverse audiences
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional business attire required
- Contract Assignment: 90-day contract with potential for extension or conversion based on performance
- Attendance is critical; candidates should have no planned time off during the initial contract period
- Training provided through job shadowing and hands-on instruction during onboarding
