Key Responsibilities:
- Manage life insurance applications from submission through underwriting, approval, and policy issuance
- Review applications for completeness and identify missing or inconsistent information
- Communicate clearly with applicants, underwriting teams, and internal partners to move cases forward
- Monitor case progress and ensure adherence to service level timelines
- Document all case activity accurately within CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
- Coordinate with underwriting, compliance, and policy issuance teams to resolve issues
- Support resolution of escalations, requirements, and outstanding documentation
- Maintain accuracy and consistency across high-volume case loads
- Identify process delays or system issues and escalate appropriately
- Provide a high level of customer service throughout the lifecycle of each case
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of experience in case management, insurance operations, underwriting support, or related customer-facing role
- Experience within life insurance or financial services strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Must obtain Life & Health Producer License within 30 days of hire (training and study materials provided; up to 3 exam attempts)
