About the Company
Addison Group is hiring a Revenue Cycle Supervisor on behalf of one of our healthcare clients. This is a direct-hire, on-site leadership role ideal for an experienced medical billing professional who enjoys mentoring teams, improving processes, and driving results within the revenue cycle.
About the Role
This role is responsible for overseeing insurance billing operations and leading a team focused on claims processing, follow-up, and denial resolution. The supervisor will work closely with revenue cycle leadership to ensure claims are managed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with payer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and guidance to a billing and insurance follow-up team of approximately 7–9 employees
- Monitor accounts receivable activity and address unpaid or denied claims to ensure timely reimbursement
- Review claims for accuracy and completeness prior to submission or resubmission
- Manage appeals, corrections, and follow-up related to insurance denials
- Serve as a subject-matter resource for insurance rules, billing workflows, and payer requirements
- Track denial trends and communicate findings with leadership, offering solution-focused recommendations
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to support electronic payments and remittance processing
- Stay current on payer updates, coding guidelines, and billing regulations, sharing key updates with the team
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality standards
- Participate in meetings and collaborate with internal departments as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance follow-up, or accounts receivable
- Prior experience leading or mentoring staff strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding (certification helpful but not required)
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to change and support team engagement during transitions
- Professional, hands-on leadership style with a collaborative mindset

Pay range and compensation package
Competitive salary range of $60K–$63K annually (based on experience). This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Potential bonus opportunity.
