The Benefits Administrator will support the administration and oversight of self-funded benefits program. This role works closely with Payroll, HR, and external partners to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless experience for employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit benefits and payroll deductions each cycle to ensure accuracy
- Support monthly and quarterly reconciliations, including 401(k)
- Review eligibility, enrollments, and employee benefit changes
- Maintain and ensure accurate employee coding across departments and divisions
- Assist with claims review and partner with broker/TPAs to resolve issues
- Support administration of self-funded medical, dental, vision, and pharmacy plans
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and related regulations
- Assist with reporting, audits, and plan documentation
- Serve as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and escalations
- 2–3 years of self-funded benefits experience
- Strong understanding of claims and benefits processes
- Experience with HRIS/benefits platforms (Employee Navigator, Paylocity preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, reporting, data analysis)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
