Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support multiple property teams to ensure consistent operational execution and performance standards
- Conduct routine site visits to evaluate leasing activity, maintenance quality, and overall property conditions
- Partner with on-site leadership to establish and achieve goals related to occupancy, revenue, and resident retention
- Oversee budgeting processes, monitor financial performance, and address variances with actionable plans
- Review and approve expenditures, vendor relationships, and operational costs within assigned scope
- Analyze reporting metrics and provide strategic recommendations to improve property performance
- Recruit, coach, and develop property managers and site teams to build strong, effective leadership pipelines
- Guide leasing and marketing efforts, including pricing strategies, concessions, and lease-up initiatives
- Ensure adherence to all relevant housing regulations, policies, and risk management practices
- Address escalated resident concerns and promote a high standard of customer service across communities
- Maintain consistent communication with leadership, providing updates on performance, challenges, and initiatives
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Regional Manager or AVP-level role within multifamily property management
- Prior experience working in a third-party management environment (managing assets on behalf of ownership groups)
- Hands-on experience overseeing a range of asset classes (Class A, B, and C), including lease-up communities
- Proficiency with RealPage or similar property management platforms
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis
- Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and hold teams accountable across multiple locations
- Excellent communication skills with a professional and direct leadership style
- Ability to manage competing priorities and travel regularly as required
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
