Job Description:
The Assistant Property Manager will support the daily operations of two residential communities while also assisting the broader property management team with administrative and compliance-related initiatives. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations for assigned residential properties
- Conduct routine property inspections and ensure community standards are maintained
- Support rent collection efforts and lease compliance processes
- Serve as a primary point of contact for resident questions and concerns
- Coordinate maintenance requests and monitor unit turns and vacancies
- Maintain accurate resident files and ensure regulatory compliance
- Assist with audits, reporting, and documentation requirements
- Provide backup coverage for other property management team members as needed
- Contribute to special projects and departmental process improvements
- Uphold Fair Housing standards and maintain confidentiality at all times
- High school diploma required; additional education preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in property management, leasing, housing programs, or related administrative roles preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Fully onsite role (3 days at properties, 2 days at main office)
