Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to support and maintain our Quorum system, which is critical to our Accounting and Land operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Quorum in an oil and gas environment and a strong understanding of upstream business processes. This role will work closely with end users, IT, accounting, and functional teams to ensure optimal performance and usability of Quorum applications across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for the Quorum system, including modules for Accounting, Land, and Production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating to internal IT teams as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to interpret needs and deliver system enhancements or solutions.
- Assist with system configuration, testing, and deployment of upgrades or patches.
- Work with end users to train and support their understanding of Quorum functionality.
- Document support processes, recurring issues, and solutions for knowledge sharing.
- Identify opportunities to improve application workflows and streamline business processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data integrity and system accuracy.
- 2 years of experience supporting Quorum applications, particularly in Land and/or Accounting modules.
- Familiarity with oil and gas accounting principles and land administration practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Experience working in a helpdesk, support, or business analyst capacity is preferred.
- Experience with revenue accounting would also be applicable.
- Comfortable collaborating across multiple departments and user levels.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and team-oriented.
- Oil & gas industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior experience in upstream operations a plus.
- SQL knowledge or familiarity with reporting tools is a bonus.
- Experience with revenue accounting would also be applicable.
