A growing public accounting firm is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its Walla Walla office. Key Responsibilitie

• sManage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of business clients, including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• .Prepare and review sales and use tax filings across multiple jurisdictions
• .Support business and individual tax preparation and compliance engagements
• .Review bookkeeping, maintain general ledgers, and resolve accounting discrepancies
• .Serve as a primary client contact, providing responsive service and accounting guidance
• .Partner with firm leadership on client consulting, process improvements, and special projects

Qualificatio

• nsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fiel
• d.5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a CPA firm or client accounting services environmen
• t.Strong experience with full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparatio
• n.Hands-on experience with sales and use tax compliance is highly preferre
• d.Tax preparation experience for businesses and individuals is strongly preferre
• d.CPA or CPA eligibility is a plu
• s.Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship skill
