Addison Group is representing an expanding transportation services company with the recruitment of a Staff Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly environment supporting a business that plays a critical role in transportation solutions.
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial information, reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close activities, reporting, accounts payable/receivable, billing, and general ledger accuracy. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This will report to the Assistant Controller.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accrual accounting.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Our client offers:
$80,000 to $85,000 base salary range dependent on experience.
