Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and a sincere enjoyment of helping others and working as part of a team. Essential Functions include: -Demonstrate strict standards of confidentiality-Maintain accurate and confidential special education records, databases, and files-Ensure compliance with special education regulations and timelines-Track and initiate IEP annual review timelines-Monitor evaluation due dates-Facilitate preparation of IEP documents at the building level-Scheduling of annual reviews with school teams and parents/guardians-Scheduling of evaluation Team meetings-Ensure timely communication through meeting notices and invitations-Distribute IEP progress monitoring reports to parents/guardians as specified in the IEP-Attend special education meetings for documentation purposes-Provide clerical support to special education teachers and related service providers-Perform other assigned duties as neededQualifications include: Qualifications: -Associates Degree or equivalent experience-Strong background in various computer applications, ie, Excel, Word;-Strong organizational skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy;-Ability to multi-task;-Strong written and oral communication skills;-Knowledge of accounting desirable, QuickBooks a plus;-Ability to work independently as directed; and-Ability to work collaboratively with administrative office team; Addison Central School District offers competitive wages.
