Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in West Springfield, MA, for an Assistant Project Manager. The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include expediting materials, managing project timelines, coordinating inspections, and ensuring logistics run smoothly. The individual will work closely with project management teams to ensure that project milestones are achieved according to schedule and within budget. Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Expediting and Logistics Management
- Experience with Project Management practices, including planning and coordinating tasks
- Familiarity with conducting and scheduling Inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Strong understanding of Expeditor functions in managing supplies and materials
- Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus
- Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred
