Coordinate and deliver Workforce and Business Center (WBC) programs to support individuals in achieving their education, employment, and self-sufficiency goals. Provide comprehensive case management, including eligibility determination, individualized planning, and ongoing career coaching and supportive services, while applying critical thinking to address barriers and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Hiring Range is $26.45. The full hiring range is $26.45 - $38.35.
  • Manage a caseload of participants, delivering career coaching, case management, and human services support, including work readiness training, stability-focused services (e.g., housing, financial, or family support referrals), and employment services to meet established outcomes.
  • Use critical thinking to assess participant needs, identify barriers, and develop effective, individualized strategies for success across employment, education, and personal stability domains.
  • Provide one-on-one and group career coaching and life-skills guidance, including goal setting, career pathway exploration, resume development, interview preparation, and strategies for long-term self-sufficiency.
  • Conduct outreach and recruitment activities to engage job seekers, program participants, and individuals in need of human services support.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and employers.
  • Determine participant eligibility, collect and verify required documentation, and maintain accurate case files in data systems.
  • Administer assessments to evaluate skills, interests, aptitudes, support service needs, and career readiness; interpret results to guide service planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized service or employment plans, integrating both career and human services goals, and adjust strategies as participant needs evolve.
  • Provide ongoing case management, including regular follow-up, progress tracking, and coaching to ensure goal attainment and improved overall well-being.
  • Facilitate placement into training, work-based learning, supportive services, and employment opportunities aligned with participant goals.
  • Deliver and document supportive services to address barriers to education, employment, and personal or family stability.
  • Collaborate with employers, training providers, and human services agencies to support participant engagement, retention, and success.
  • Refer participants to appropriate external resources when needs fall outside program scope, including health, housing, financial assistance, and social services.
  • Prepare reports, maintain detailed case notes, and ensure timely, accurate data entry.
  • Deliver presentations and orientations to individuals and groups on program services and expectations, including both employment and human services resources.
  • Participate in outreach events and represent the organization professionally in the community.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to achieve program goals and improve service delivery across multiple program areas.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to interpret and apply regulations, policies, and procedures across workforce and human services programs.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including individuals facing multiple barriers to employment and self-sufficiency.
  • Knowledge of workforce development practices, human services systems, career pathways, and job search strategies.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with employers, educators, community partners, and social service agencies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and data management systems.
  • Ability to analyze assessment data, interpret results, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to travel locally and maintain reliable transportation.

Experience

  • Two (2) years of case management, career coaching, counseling, or related experience working with job seekers and/or human services populations in a workforce, human services, or similar setting. 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Career Counseling, Education, or a related field;
     OR equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
