FINANCE MANAGER

Adagio Health Inc. is seeking a full-time Finance Manager to join our Pittsburgh, PA central office. This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of two (2) preset in-office days per week.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FINANCE MANAGER

As The Finance Manager, You Will

• Guide daily accounting operations and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Oversee general ledger management, reconciliations, grant reporting, and financial statement preparation.
• Partner closely with the CFO to provide timely, data-driven insights for leadership, funders, grantors, and board reporting.
• Lead and develop a team of 3 finance professionals, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal grant requirements, and FQHC-specific regulations.
• Support continuous improvement by enhancing financial tools, dashboards, and workflow efficiencies.

Qualifications For a Finance Manager

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Minimum 5 years of direct people management experience
• Healthcare or nonprofit experience; FQHC experience is a plus
• Experience with grant-funded programs and federal compliance requirements preferred
• Strong leadership and coaching skills
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and collaboration across departments
  
  

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with automated financial accounting systems (MIP Fund Accounting preferred) | Experience with Ramp (expense management), AVID (AP), and CTR (payroll) | Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, modeling) | Familiarity with third-party billing systems and automated workflows | Experience supporting financial audits and working with external auditors
