- Valid Florida driver’s license

About the Role
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse / Logistics Technician to support daily operations in a county warehouse environment. This role involves receiving, stocking, inventory tracking, and distributing materials while maintaining accurate records and ensuring efficient storage practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, stock, and distribute materials and supplies
- Maintain inventory levels and track usage/history of parts and materials
- Organize and store items using proper bin locations and storage methods
- Assist with records management, including tracking items received, issued, repaired, or disposed
- Perform inventory counts and support reporting for cost tracking and asset management
- Inspect incoming goods for accuracy and quality against purchase orders
- Provide customer service to internal departments and the public
- Support additional warehouse or department tasks as assigned
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, ratios)
- Ability to operate or learn warehouse equipment such as forklifts
- Comfortable using computers for inventory tracking and data entry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
