Location: Longwood, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00 /hr (DOE)
Hours: Mon-Thurs: 7:00AM-4:00PM, Friday: 7:00AM – 1:00PM
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to read drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Basic math and computer/data entry skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and work in a production environment
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector – Level I to support inspection and testing processes in a manufacturing environment. The Quality Control Inspector – Level I will ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality standards while maintaining accurate documentation and traceability.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
- Identify and document non-conformances and report discrepancies
- Perform visual inspections and basic electrical testing (continuity/resistance)
- Record inspection results, traceability data, and production metrics
- Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure accuracy
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
- Track job progress and maintain accurate logs
