Now Hiring: Gate Closer (Part-Time)
Pay: $16.13/hour
Schedule: Sunday – Saturday | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Location: North Brevard County, Florida
About the Opportunity
Trade office walls for sunset skies. As a Gate Closer, you’ll spend your evenings traveling through the scenic parks of Florida’s Space Coast, helping ensure each location is safely secured for the night.
This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys independence, fresh air, and meaningful work that keeps the community safe.
What You’ll Do
- Lock and secure park gates and restroom facilities
- Ensure parks are properly closed at dusk
- Travel between sites using a county-provided vehicle
- Cover a scenic route from Highway 50 north to the county line in Scottsmoor
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass drug screening (Drug-Free Workplace)
- Ability to pass a background check
