Nursing & Education Operations Coordinator (NEOC)

Location: Sarasota, FL

Pay: $25/hour

Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday

Job Type: Temporary / Contract


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred from an accredited institution
  • 2–3 years of student-facing experience in a college or university setting, or equivalent experience
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to manage calendars, data, and multiple priorities effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal


Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in higher education or academic administration
  • Familiarity with systems such as Banner, FLAC, or similar platforms
  • Experience with budgeting, procurement, or grant tracking
  • Exposure to accreditation or regulatory processes (ACEN, FDOE, FBON)

Overview

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support the Dean of Nursing and Education in daily operations. This role plays a key part in coordinating academic programs, managing administrative processes, and supporting student and faculty initiatives to ensure program success.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Dean with daily operations, projects, and program initiatives
  • Manage calendar, appointments, and correspondence on behalf of the Dean
  • Coordinate procurement of equipment and supplies across Nursing and Education programs
  • Generate and maintain financial and operational reports using college systems
  • Assist with updating policies and procedures
  • Maintain electronic records, including Continuing Education Units and certificates
  • Support data accuracy and reporting in systems such as Project Concert
  • Assist with regulatory and accreditation documentation (ACEN, FDOE, FBON)
  • Maintain and update shared files, dashboards, and internal communication platforms
  • Ensure meeting minutes and documentation meet accreditation requirements
  • Assist with class scheduling in Banner and review of FLAC as needed
  • Coordinate event logistics, programs, and alumni-related initiatives
  • Provide general administrative and project support as needed
