Location: Sanford, FL
Pay Rate:$30.00/hr. (DOE)
Hours: 4:30am - 6:00pm Mon-Thursday (OFF Friday)
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience
- 5 years of CNC Mazak Mills and Lathe experience
- Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Expert knowledge of CNC controls, M-code, and G-code
- Experience with troubleshooting, programming, and precision measuring tools
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Machine Shop Supervisor will oversee machinists, coordinate workflow, ensure production goals are met, and maintain quality and safety standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong CNC machining expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily machine shop operations and employee performance
- Schedule assignments to meet production goals and deadlines
- Train new and existing employees on equipment and processes
- Program, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC mills and lathes
- Inspect completed work for tolerances and specifications
- Perform preventative maintenance and maintain repair records
- Drive process improvements to reduce setup and machining time
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized machine shop
