What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Associate position at Acuity Analytics?
The IT Associate will support daily operations and project initiatives, administer core tools, coordinate disaster recovery testing, maintain documentation, remediate vulnerabilities, and manage onboarding and asset tracking. This role serves as an internal escalation point for Office 365 and internal applications, working closely with the IT Operations Lead.
Essential skills
• 3–5 years in IT operations, service desk escalation, or systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Proficiency in SharePoint/OneDrive administration.
• Experience managing vendor support tickets.
• Comfortable executing change plans and supporting off-hours maintenance.
• Basic scripting/automation (PowerShell preferred).
• Strong documentation skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Good to have:
• Experience in capital markets or trading environments (Flextrade, Cloud9).
• Familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Understanding of AWS S3 policies and cross-account access.
• Programming knowledge: R, SQL, Python.
• DR/BCP planning and execution.
• ITSM/ticketing practices (ITIL Foundation or equivalent).
• Certifications: MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, CompTIA Security .
Salary : $100,000 - $105,000
