Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician
· Troubleshoot, diagnoses and repairs complicated equipment problems.
· Assist in training and development of teams.
· Maintain in safe work environment.
· Work with production engineers to improve production processes.
· Performs other duties
Qualifications of Maintenance Technician
· High school diploma or GED certificate
· Mechanic/electrical maintenance experience (preferred)
· Blueprint reading skills
· Ability to work as part of a team
· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
· This position is required to work in a manufacturing environment facility. When in the plant, the worker is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually medium. Hard hats, steel toe safety shoes, and safety glasses are required in all production areas.
