One of our clients in Mesa, AZ is looking for a General Accountant / Bookkeeper to join their team. They are a well established air filter manufacturer from Japan. They have been using temp agency to have an accountant come in their office regularly to do their general accounting duties. However, they would like to have an accountant with them from now on.
The Responsibilities for General Accountant / Bookkeeper:
• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
•Utilize accounting software systems, such as QuickBooks to perform daily financial tasks.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Conduct cash flow analysis to monitor and optimize financial performance.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in a computerized accounting system.
• Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with management to support decision-making through financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
•Assist office administrative task
•Other duties are assigned by managers
The Requirements for General Accountant / Bookkeeper:
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR).
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with computerized accounting systems and financial services standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
• Experience of bookkeeping/Accounting in manufacturing industry is plus.
