Press Machine Operator (Automotive) #35841

An international automotive parts manufacturer in the Ravenswood, WV area is looking for a Press Machine Operator to join their team! This position is direct-hire and full-time.

Press Machine Operator Responsibilities Include:

• Perform setting up and operation of machinery according to company procedures
• Monitor the machinery and make sure its function and productivity
• Make adjustment on machinery as needed
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues and work with maintenance teams
• Perform quality control for finished products
• Follow safety and production standards and procedures
• Perform data entry, inventory control, record management for materials and tools as needed

Press Machine Operator Requirements Include:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3 years of working experience in industrial manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance documents required
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability
• Experience in press machine required
• While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
