Job Title: Validation Engineer
Job Description
The Validation Engineer will be an integral part of the hardware validation team, focusing on testing and validating analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems for our products. This role requires strong validation experience and close collaboration with the design and integration teams.
Responsibilities
- Conduct test and validation activities for analog, digital, and embedded sub-systems.
- Collaborate closely with design and integration teams to ensure robust hardware validation.
- Troubleshoot and debug PCB designs effectively.
- Write and execute test plans for microcontrollers, SOCs, FPGAs, power supplies, electric motors, high-speed systems, and RF components.
Essential Skills
- Hardware verification and validation experience.
- Expertise in electrical engineering and PCB design.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug analog circuits.
- Experience in writing detailed test plans.
- Proficiency with microcontrollers, SOCs, FPGAs, and power supplies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Hands-on soldering skills with both through-hole and surface-mount components.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in board-level design verification for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics products.
- Experience in developing requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
