Traffic Engineer

Join an innovative and forward-thinking team as a Traffic Engineer. You will work with a dedicated group of professionals to design and build excellent engineering proposals. This role offers a dynamic work environment with the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects, contributing to both the local metro Detroit area and beyond. Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze traffic data
• Prepare detailed traffic impact studies
• Develop plan sheets and Synchro model networks
• Create traffic sign and pavement marking plans
• Conduct crash analyses and design traffic signals
• Prepare maintenance of traffic plans and documentation
• Resolve design and construction problems effectively
• Develop project cost estimates and schedules
• Ensure timely and smooth project completion
• Participate in field investigations to diagnose issues
• Develop reports and preliminary concepts
• Adapt to varied experiences and changes in the work environment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Valid Driver’s License
• 1-3 years of traffic engineering experience, ideally with traffic studies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Synchro, VISSIM, Highway Capacity Software, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

• EIT or PE license
• Roadway design skills
• MicroStation design experience

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $39.00/hr.
