Temporary Scientist III

As a Temporary Scientist III, you will perform a variety of routine and complex analytical experiments using advanced laboratory techniques and instruments. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical equipment, ensuring accurate analysis of raw materials, intermediates, drug substances, and drug product samples.

Responsibilities

• Perform experiments to support drug substance and drug product development and release of finished products.
• Analyze data acquired to draw conclusions based on statistical analysis and established quality control criteria.
• Document work in ELN in compliance with company procedures and Good Documentation Practices.
• Commit to laboratory safety and adhere to best practices.
• Coordinate with service engineers and facilities team to schedule maintenance of analytical instrumentation.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry or related field with an emphasis in analytical chemistry.
• One to five years of chromatography experience in the pharmaceutical analytical field.
• Knowledge and experience in developing and qualifying methods utilizing Agilent liquid chromatography instruments.
• Strong willingness to learn, adaptability, and ability to take on new challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work well within a team environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position with no travel required. The work environment is dynamic, encouraging teamwork and commitment to safety protocols.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Alameda, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
