Responsibilities
- Read and review blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
- Ensure compliance with NJ building codes and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and local municipal inspectors.
- Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and material deliveries.
- Manage overall job progress and ensure timelines are met.
- Demonstrate strong work ethic and leadership skills.
- Execute snapping floorplan lines accurately.
- Apply excellent carpentry techniques in the installation process.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in reading architectural and structural blueprints to identify components such as windows, trusses, and structural framing.
- 5 years of experience in new construction custom homes valued at $1 million , focusing on trusses and framing installation.
- Ability to create, organize, and follow up on change orders and work orders, including scheduling and preparing two-week look-aheads.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Trenton, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.05 - $40.86/hr.
