Superintendent

We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to manage and oversee subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols. This role involves daily reporting, coordinating with national park service members, and managing close-out inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors on-site to ensure project objectives are met.
• Write and review daily reports from subcontractors.
• Coordinate with national park service members to update project timelines.
• Manage reports for close-out inspections.
• Enforce safety protocols throughout the project duration.

• At least 2 years of experience on construction sites.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in document control and review.
• Knowledge of construction, commercial construction, and general contractor operations.
• Subcontractor management and construction supervision.

• Knowledge of federal construction standards and safety regulations is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and subcontractors.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Experience as a foreman with 5 years managing a crew.

Work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, located on Assateague Island. The role involves working in a dynamic environment with a new and growing general contractor, with opportunities for advancement to new projects upon successful completion.

This is a Contract position based out of Berlin, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
