Job Title: Project Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to support multiple ongoing projects, including new construction and renovations of national parks, schools, jails, and other state/county projects. This role involves overseeing subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and materials for projects under $1 million. The successful candidate will ensure effective management of all trades in the field and maintain communication with park officials, government agencies, and contractors. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing weekly progress updates.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all subcontractors, schedules, budgets, and materials for assigned projects.
• Manage ground-up and renovation projects under $1 million.
• Interact with park officials, government agencies, and contractors to ensure project alignment.
• Provide weekly progress updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure effective management of all trades in the field.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial superintendent.
• Proficiency in construction management and subcontractor management.
• Ability to read blueprints and manage commercial construction projects.
• Experience with scheduling and working as a general contractor or field engineer.
• Experience working with government agencies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in park and recreation projects is preferred.
• Ground-up construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience managing multiple contractors on site.

Work Environment

Work will primarily be conducted on-site, often in various weather conditions. A project trailer will be available for meetings and paperwork. The project team is small and consists of a Project Manager, Superintendent, and an Assistant Project Manager, fostering a close-knit team environment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
