Superintendent

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our team in the Raleigh/Triangle/Lexington region. Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities and enforce safety protocols.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and quality control processes.
• Coordinate with utility providers, inspectors, and third-party testing agencies.
• Mentor and oversee Assistant Superintendents and Project Engineers.
• Maintain accurate documentation including meeting minutes, daily logs, and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop recovery schedules and resolve issues.
• Conduct pre-installation meetings and manage punch list completion.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and local codes.
• Maintain strong communication with owners, design teams, and subcontractors.

• Experience in construction management and supervision.
• Osha 30 certification.
• Proficiency in Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and MS Project.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, safety regulations, and inspection requirements.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent.
• 4 years of leadership experience in construction.
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $15M or more.

This position involves working on a large multifamily job in Downtown Raleigh with small project teams on site. The role includes fieldwork on both new construction projects and renovations, offering the opportunity to interact directly with leadership and owners. The work environment requires the ability to navigate active construction sites in various weather conditions, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or walk for extended periods. Occasional travel and on-call responsibilities are expected.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.

Competitive salary range: $90,000 – $165,000, based on experience.
