Position Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our team and support the design and delivery of structural projects. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on experience in structural engineering and project coordination. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers on a variety of commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and precast concrete components.
• Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications under supervision.
• Support project managers with coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines.
• Participate in site visits and inspections to observe construction and gather data.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Engineer Intern (EI) certification preferred or ability to obtain.
• 0–4 years of structural engineering experience (internship experience counts).
• Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000, Revit, AutoCAD).
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of precast concrete design and manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to construction methods and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
