Job Title: Sr. Civil Project Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Civil Project Engineers specializing in Land Development to join our innovative team. These roles offer a unique hybrid work environment, providing the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office presence for team collaborations and client meetings. Ideal candidates should be commutable to one of our office locations across several states.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports, and other project documents independently.
- Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications.
- Develop grading plans, profiles, road designs, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
- Perform detailed calculations for stormwater facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements.
- Collaborate with drafters, designers, and administrative staff to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare site development plans for various types of developments.
- Manage spreadsheets, task lists, memos, and other materials related to internal programs.
- Support internal project administration, including setting up project numbers, organizing billing reports, and preparing contracts.
- Participate in meetings to review project updates, receive assignments, and take notes.
- Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering within an engineering or construction firm, focusing on Land Development/Site Development.
- 5 years of site development design experience.
- Proven client interaction and management skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D, including grading tools and creation of alignments, profiles, corridors, and surfaces.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or a plan to obtain it.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
