Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join a well-established team dedicated to supporting the development and sustainment of the Open Systems Architecture Simulation Framework (OSF) under the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the OSF lifecycle of software development efforts, which include development, integration, and deployment for MDA test and analysis efforts with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems and tactical software.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, integration, and deployment of OSF for MDA test and analysis efforts.
• Work with real-time hardware-in-the-loop systems and tactical software.
• Enhance understanding of the missile defense system and integration of elements into OSF for MDA ground test campaigns.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or Math from an accredited institution.
• 5-20 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong programming skills in C/C , C#, and Python, including object-oriented programming.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with DevSecOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), and scrum/agile software development.
• Experience with MDA HWIL test and analysis and simulation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of missile defense architecture, including radars, fire control systems, launchers, and messaging protocols.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
