We are seeking a high level Systems Engineer to lead a critical transition from our legacy Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platform to a new system. This is a high-impact, global role where you will collaborate with cross-functional product teams to design, implement, and standardize processes that enable a smooth migration and adoption of our new ALM.
You will serve as a central change agent, driving best practices, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with medical device development standards. This position offers the opportunity to shape how our organization manages requirements and systems engineering for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ALM Transition: Drive the migration from the existing ALM tool to Jama, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
- Process Design & Standardization: Develop and implement standardized workflows, templates, and best practices for requirements management.
- Change Management: Act as a champion for change, influencing global teams and fostering adoption of new tools and processes.
- Collaboration: Partner with product development teams worldwide to gather feedback, refine processes, and deliver training.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancements in Jama usage and integrate new features to optimize performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 6–7 years in Systems Engineering, preferably within medical device product development.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO, IEC, FDA).
- Skills: Proven ability to influence and lead change across global teams.
- Expertise in process design and implementation.
- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Jama Connect or similar ALM tools.

This is a Contract position based out of Waukesha, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
