Solution Architect - SAP (PP-PI)

Job Description

The Solution Architect, Digital & Transformation (D&T), SAP-Production Planning collaborates with Production & Operations functions to define, deliver, and support D&T-enabled business solutions. This role is responsible for defining strategic directions, determining business needs, designing & delivering technical solutions for Production Planning, and managing team members. The position focuses on delivering production planning with integration to Quality, including project delivery, system enhancement, and production support in alignment with D&T and company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Business and Subject Matter Experts to understand requirements.
• Understand current setups and design of the system.
• Configure and develop requirements based on design, ensuring scalability.
• Support team members and ensure project progress.
• Conduct PRE UAT, UAT, and prepare training documentation.
• Provide onsite training.
• Spearhead mapping of business requirements to optimal technical solutions.
• Deliver technical functionality to meet business requirements.
• Manage people, work distribution, and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Mentor and coach team members, focusing on team building and development.
• Solve complex problems using breadth of expertise.
• Provide system support and maintenance according to standards and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain system lifecycle documents, including SOPs, SOIs, and Job Aids.
• Participate in the Change Control process.
• Collaborate with Production, Operations, and Supply Chain to define detailed business requirements for D&T enablement.
• Interpret issues and recommend solutions or best practices.
• Stay up to date on the latest release.
• Work in a virtual environment in a global organization, prioritizing tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Deep expertise in SAP system functionality and technical understanding of SAP Production Planning in the Process Industries
• QM integration
• Discrete and Process Manufacturing is a must
• Experience in integrating SAP S4HANA nice to have
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and complex environment.
• Sound judgment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Compliance with relevant SOPs as per company policy.
• Support and contribute to Lean Sigma programs.
• Must be hands on from requirement, solution, configuration, setup, validation, and training, etc

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
• Agile & Scrum Certification, ITIL preferred.
• Experience in process industries, production planning, and SAP PP configuration.
• Integration knowledge with SAP EWM, Batch Management, and capacity planning software.
• Pharma experience and integration knowledge with external systems are nice to have.

This is a Contract position based out of Exton, PA.

The pay range for this position is $89.00 - $89.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Exton,PA.
