As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing and ensuring contract adherence for performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality. You will be responsible for monitoring contract performance, analyzing plans and specifications, and supporting the construction management team to ensure successful field execution. Additionally, you will supervise the submittal process, prepare reports and specifications, and maintain project schedules.
Responsibilities- Provide oversight and determine contract adherence for performance, cost, scope, schedule, and quality.
- Monitor contract performance to ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled and key milestones are met.
- Analyze and understand plans, specifications, and quality requirements.
- Support on-site construction management team for field execution and ensure conformance to engineering plans and safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate submittal process and working drawings requirements.
- Prepare or direct preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, and designs for projects.
- Provide contract interpretation and clarification.
- Maintain and update project schedules with the assistance of the construction manager or project scheduler.
- Maintain, verify, and report cost and income quantities for work performed.
- Review, approve, and submit progress billings.
- Analyze, prepare, and monitor job costs and control production budget.
- Prepare and audit accurate and timely monthly cost, income, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate and assist in commercial tasks, such as change orders and claims.
- Respond to issues quickly and proactively solve problems while handling multiple tasks.
- Organize office and filing system efficiently and maintain accurate project correspondence files.
- Prepare and implement quality control procedures in compliance with owner contract and company requirements.
- Perform audits and prepare quality problem reports.
- Act as liaison with suppliers and stakeholders on quality-related matters.
- Ensure corrective measures are implemented in case of noncompliance.
- Prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and action items logs for weekly project update meetings.
- Assist in development and review of executive update presentations.
- Assist in review of project schedule and forecast to support project controls.
- Assist in drafting RFI and NCR responses.
- Support logistics specialist in review and inventory of materials and equipment.
- Assist with daily activities of the Project Manager as needed.
- 5 years of experience in Electric Generation, Heavy Industrial, or Gas Fired Combustion Turbines.
- Experience managing large complex projects with a combination of internal/external and labor/non-labor cost components.
- Experience in building combined cycle or simple cycle power plants.
- Experience in heavy industrial work or general contracting with leadership roles.
- Knowledge of multiple disciplines related to civil, structural, mechanical, electrical.
- Ability to understand CPM scheduling and manage cost, commodities, and burn curves.
- Ability to inform leadership on constructability and installation.
- Ability to manage OEM contract documents with scope and schedule understanding.
- Ability to interpret, draft, and manage commercial tasks with contracts.
- Ability to understand order of precedence, master service agreements, and contract documents.
- Ability to execute duties utilizing technical specifications and design drawings.
- Ability to lead progress update calls and manage construction turnover.
- Excellent leadership skills to coach, develop, and lead a diverse team.
- Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and stakeholders.
- Experience in project cost management and resource capacity planning.
- Experience implementing change management approaches.
- Experience with project management documents and procurement activities.
- Ability to draft RFI responses and manage logistics.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $91.00/hr.
