Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of four direct reports with the possibility of expanding to five.
• Delegate tasks, support projects, and develop team members through teaching and guidance.
• Spend approximately 60% of the time in the office and 40% on the manufacturing floor.
• Work on budgeting for 2026 soon after starting the role.
• Oversee seven different CNC cells, turning machines, and a machining center.
• Utilize Mazak & Haas CNC machines and program within Mastercam or Mazatrol.
• Lead and organize continuous improvement efforts and cost-saving projects.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams, including leadership, engineering, production managers, maintenance, and operators.

• Bachelor's of Science Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
• 5 years of experience in machining, manufacturing, or process engineering roles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Access Databases, and Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems and blueprint reading/routings.
• Experience in creating engineering budgets.

• Familiarity with processing of milling, turning, and grinding.
• CNC programming experience utilizing Mastercam or Mazak.

The work environment is temperature-controlled and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable setting. Employees typically wear jeans and a polo, with steel-toed shoes or boots required. The standard work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with flexibility to start earlier. Approximately 80% of the work is conducted on the manufacturing floor, with the remaining 20% in the production office alongside other engineers and production managers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $55.29/hr.
