Senior Linux Administrator

Description

• Your responsibilities will include working individually and with teams to:
• Configure, deploy and administer Linux-based systems (Red Hat, Rocky, Ubuntu, etc.) on physical and virtual environments (both production and non-production)
• Assist in installation of software development and engineering tools
• Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and projects as related to Linux support
• Produce and maintain configuration and maintenance documentation

Minimum Requirements

• Strong Experience managing and maintaining Linux based infrastructure
• Strong Experience implementing Linux based infrastructure hardening (STIGs, etc.)
• Strong Experience identifying and remediating vulnerabilities (STIGs, Scans, etc.)
• Experience with Centralized Management of Linux based infrastructure (Satellite, Foreman, Ansible, etc.)
• Automate system administration tasks using scripting (Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef)
• Experience with Windows Domain Integration of Linux infrastructure managing user access, permissions, and identity integration (LDAP, Active Directory)
• Provide modest-level of 24x7 on-call support of key systems
• DoD 8140 Certification
• Must be able to obtain U.S. Government security clearance.

• Experience meeting the requirements of compliance frameworks (NIST800-171, NIST800-53)
• Understanding of and experience with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Program and the impact on managing Controlled Unclassified Information in and across Linux environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Orlando, FL.

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
