Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Estimator who is dedicated to producing high-quality, detailed estimates using proven processes, systems, and guidelines. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, design and engineering consultants, and other project stakeholders. Consistent and error-free work is essential for success in this position, which is designed for an experienced and valued team member who is recognized and supported by a committed management and administrative team.
Responsibilities
- Produce quality and detailed estimates following established processes and standards.
- Maintain and cultivate relationships with subcontractors, design and engineering consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Ensure work is consistent and error-free.
- Participate in preconstruction and bidding processes.
- Utilize estimating software and tools such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Blueprints.
- Focus on commercial construction projects, including Higher Education, Healthcare, K-12, and Government projects.
- 7 years in the construction industry with at least 5 years focused on estimating.
- Proficiency in estimation, construction, and bidding processes.
- Experience with estimating software such as Sage Estimating, Procore, E-Takeoff, Bluebeam, and Revit/Navisworks.
- Understanding of CM conceptual through 100% CD estimating and competitive bid work.
- 4-year degree in a related field.
- Experience with commercial construction, including Higher Education, Healthcare, K-12, and Government projects.
- Multi-family project experience is a plus.
