Senior Configuration Manager

We are looking to hire a Senior Configuration Manager to lead CM processes across the organization. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, manages change control, and drives product lifecycle management (PLM) initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and maintain CM processes using PLM tools (ARAS, SAP).
• Develop CM plans for technical baselines; manage ECPs, RFVs, CD/CRs.
• Conduct Change Control Boards (CCBs), submit Technical Data Packages (TDPs), perform audits, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to ensure CM compliance.
• Oversee design/manufacturing change analysis and modification records.
• Implement CM requirements for configuration identification (hardware/software).
• Provide technical solutions to complex CM challenges.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree 15 years in CM or equivalent experience.
• 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Expertise in CM standards: EIA-649B, MIL-HDBK-61A, MIL-STD-973, AS9100, ISO9001.
• Familiarity with PLM systems (ARAS, SAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Costpoint and COBRA a plus.

This is a Permanent position based out of Syracuse, NY.

The pay range for this position is $134000.00 - $161500.00/yr.
