Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with over 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and possess a Professional Engineer certification. This role requires strong proficiency in CAD and Revit, with additional 3D modeling skills being advantageous. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering analysis tools and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple mechanical engineering projects simultaneously.
- Utilize strong client-facing and relationship-building skills to manage client relationships effectively.
- Ensure thorough knowledge and application of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
- Design Fire Life Safety systems with a preferred understanding.
- Implement and manage Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
- Conduct energy audits and manage projects in accordance with ASHRAE levels 1-3.
- Incorporate renewable energy design into projects where applicable.
- 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of Building and Mechanical Codes and Standards.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with Fire Life Safety system design is preferred.
- Proficiency in Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and Building Automation Systems.
- CEM and CxA certifications are advantageous.
- Experience in commissioning, energy, and HVAC design is a plus.
- Knowledge of eQuest software.
- Renewable energy design experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
