Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description
We are seeking a fully remote Mechanical Designer with over 5 years of experience who can independently take a project from start to finish with minimal guidance from a Professional Engineer. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM, and should be adept at sizing ductwork, running load calculations, and performing heat calculations.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage projects from initiation to completion.
- Design using AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software.
- Size ductwork and perform load and heat calculations.
- Collaborate on projects varying from government facilities, hospitals, laboratories, to office buildings.
Essential Skills
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Experience with BIM technology.
- Strong ability to perform load and heat calculations.
- Must be a US citizen as per client contracts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Willingness to undergo a federal drug and background test.
- Experience with government projects is a plus.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.67 - $60.10/hr.
