Job Title: Survey Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic national Architecture and Engineering firm focused on small cell site layouts for a nationwide telecommunications company. We are seeking a Survey Technician to coordinate and perform front-end drafting and fieldwork. The role will initially be office-based, transitioning to a 25% field and 75% drafting split, with fieldwork primarily in Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Research work sites for survey preparation.
• Draft surveys using AutoCAD.
• Review and plot legal descriptions and title work onto surveys.
• Perform fieldwork to gather data for survey drafting.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• 5 years of survey experience.
• Ability to read and interpret legal and real estate survey documents.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of Civil 3D is advantageous.

Work Environment

This is a remote drafting position with occasional survey technician duties needed. 75% will be remote work, 25% will be traveling withing WI or MN for surveying.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sauk City, WI.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
