Quality Engineer

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in implementing quality assurance and control processes across engineering and manufacturing activities. You will contribute to product development, testing, and ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout the production lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and quality teams in achieving quality objectives.
• Plan and execute reviews of testing activities for development and conformance.
• Develop detailed test plans for all phases of product testing.
• Create and review test strategies, test cases, and analyze results.
• Participate in Bill of Design assessments, CTS, DFMEA, PFMEA, DVP&R, CTR, among others.
• Provide analytics from tests conducted and historical data.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance technical documents and templates.
• Create test development and execution schedules.
• Investigate test failures through data analysis and assess risk of failure in warranty claims.
• Identify and assess potential risks in design and manufacturing impacting customer quality.
• Interact with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and production teams.
• Perform capability studies and gage R&R.
• Conduct root cause analysis and prepare quality documents.
• Provide QA during product development/R&D and QC support during manufacturing and production.
• Understand and apply PPAP, APQP, and other quality validation processes.
• Review and implement customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Coordinate engineering and pre-production builds.

• 5 years of experience in QA/QC, validation, testing, and product development.
• BS or equivalent engineering degree, or sufficient experience in lieu of a degree.
• Proficiency in quality engineering, quality assurance, root cause analysis, supplier quality, PPAP, and auditing.

• Knowledge of electronics, GD&T, pneumatics, optical testing, climate testing, automotive regulation.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics.
• Experience with manufacturing and cycle testing.
• Ability to create detailed test reports.

This role is based onsite at our new facility, where you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, including computers, office equipment, 3D printers, test equipment, gauges, optical equipment, electronics, and tools. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
