Quality Control Supervisor

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Supervisor to oversee production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety principles and maintaining the highest quality standards. The role involves monitoring production, conducting laboratory tests, and implementing corrective actions to address quality issues. The successful candidate will lead a team to achieve quality and safety goals and ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes to identify defects, inconsistencies, or deviations.
• Implement and maintain food safety principles, hygiene, and contamination prevention practices.
• Conduct laboratory testing and analysis using quality control equipment.
• Troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze data, identify trends, and prepare reports to track quality performance.
• Lead and motivate a team to achieve quality and safety goals.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and other food safety standards.
• Prepare for and conduct internal audits and assist with external regulatory audits.
• Manage product specifications and ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.

• Knowledge of GMP and HACCP standards.
• Experience with both internal and external audits.
• Laboratory testing proficiency.
• Understanding of FDA and USDA standards and regulations.
• Supervisory skills.

• 2-4 years of quality control experience within the food manufacturing industry.
• Supervisory experience in quality control preferred.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Agricultural Science preferred.
• HACCP and other food quality certifications preferred.

The position is based in a food manufacturing environment with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday from 5:00 am to 2:30 pm, with weekends as needed. It is a full-time, on-site role requiring an 8-hour shift. Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision benefits, and 401K, along with various corporate partner perks. Additionally, 40 hours of California sick pay are available after 90 days of employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00/hr.
