Quality Control Inspector- 3rd Shift

Join our team as a Quality Control Inspector on the 3rd shift, where you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will undergo comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company rules, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain proper storage of gaging and cleanliness in your work area.
• Perform surface finish inspections and hardness testing (Scale A, B, C, and Brinell).
• Set up gaging as required.
• Conduct receiving, first piece, and in-process inspections.
• Execute CMM part program inspections.

• Proficiency in quality control and quality inspection.
• Experience with CMM operating and GD&T.
• Capability in first piece, in-process, and final inspections.
• Familiarity with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and gage calibration.
• Two years of minimum inspection experience preferred.

• Training in new employee orientation (Company Policy, Insurance).
• Safety training, including hazardous communication and personal protective equipment.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T training.
• Experience in using gages and Rockwell hardness testing.
• Training in surface texture, non-conforming material, and statistical process control.
• CMM orientation and DCC operation training.

You will initially train on the 1st shift for up to 2 months, depending on your skill levels and adaptability. Once training is completed, you will transition to the 3rd shift, working from 10:45 pm to 7:15 am. There is flexibility in start and end times if needed. The work environment emphasizes safety, proper equipment usage, and maintaining cleanliness in the workspace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
